Solvent printing is currently the most popular wide format printing technology. This method is used mainly on flexible substrates.
Solvent inks penetrate the printed material, which results in a high resistance to external factors. When it comes to the hard solvent inks it can mean even several years durability without specialized or additional over-coatings. Their weakness, however, is small precision, and thus, compared with printouts of mildsolvent inks printing machines, the printing quality is not as good.
This type of ink, however, allows for excellent color reproduction and photo quality printing that will satisfy even the most demanding customers. Using solid or liquid laminates increases the resistance to mechanical damage and allows for stability to external factors similar to the durability of prints from hardsolvent machines.

Mildsolwent inks last for approx 1-2 years (without lamination) or approximately 3-4 years (with additional UV protection).

250 cm for midsolvent prints (photo quality) or 320 cm for permanent inks printers.
